I have been with California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) for 18 years in the field of institutional research.  Most of our work involves the distillation of student-related data and reporting it to our campus constituents for insight and action.  We conduct presentations and facilitate discussions on results and its meaning to programs and services on campus such as advising, tutoring, peer mentorship, the Early Start program, and the Graduation Initiative.  The office conducts surveys, analyzes data, and writes reports for assessment of student success, continuous improvement, and decision-making.  We collaborate with many departments and programs on campus in program design, implementation, assessment, and accreditation.   We also inform discussions on data privacy and security, compliance, and provide recommendations for policy and standards.  Prior to CSUSB, I was at Cal State Long Beach Child Welfare Training Centre, Farmers Insurance Group, and Pitzer College doing research.
